What Is cm/360 in FPS Sensitivity?
cm/360 tells you how far your mouse must move to turn a full circle in game, which makes FPS sensitivity easier to compare than raw in-game numbers.
What cm/360 means
cm/360 means centimeters per 360-degree turn. If your result is 40 cm/360, your mouse needs to travel about 40 centimeters on the pad to make your view turn all the way around once.
Lower cm/360 means faster sensitivity. Higher cm/360 means slower sensitivity and usually more arm movement.
Why cm/360 beats raw sensitivity
Raw sensitivity numbers are game-specific. A 0.4 sensitivity in Valorant does not feel like 0.4 in CS2, Apex, or Overwatch because each game uses its own yaw and scaling. DPI also changes the final feel.
cm/360 gives you a physical measurement. That makes it easier to compare setups, check whether a new DPI changed your aim, or move a familiar feel between games once a converter is available.
DPI vs sensitivity vs eDPI vs cm/360
DPI is your mouse hardware setting. In-game sensitivity is the game multiplier. eDPI is DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity, which is useful inside one game family but not always enough across different engines.
cm/360 combines DPI, sensitivity, and game profile data into a physical turning distance. That is why GlobalPlay shows eDPI and cm/360 together when the game profile supports it.
Examples across FPS games
Valorant and CS2 players often talk about eDPI and cm/360 because small aim control matters. Apex players may tolerate faster turns because tracking and movement are more chaotic. Rainbow Six Siege players often separate hipfire baseline from ADS scope tuning.
The right number is not universal. Use ranges as references, then test with your own mousepad space, posture, grip, and normal aim routine.
Use PSA to find a comfortable cm/360
If you do not already know your preferred cm/360, start with the PSA Method Calculator. It gives you a guided way to compare lower and higher sensitivities instead of guessing from forum numbers.
For Rainbow Six Siege, use PSA to find a hipfire baseline first, then use the R6 Sensitivity Calculator for ADS scopes and aspect-ratio guidance.
FAQ
Quick answers
Is a lower cm/360 faster?
Yes. Lower cm/360 means you need less mouse movement to turn around, so the sensitivity feels faster.
Is eDPI the same as cm/360?
No. eDPI is DPI multiplied by game sensitivity. cm/360 is a physical distance that also depends on the game's yaw or conversion profile.
Can I use the same cm/360 in every FPS game?
You can use it as a consistency target, but every game has different movement, FOV, scopes, and aim style, so you may still want small game-specific adjustments.
